Wedding Cake September 2007

This is a picture of my sister's wedding cake from her wedding in late September of 2007. The cake was simple but beautiful; no elaborate designs, and it was pretty small, but appropriate for the informal wedding they were having.

Everyone's favorite part about the cake was its flavor!! She went for a lemon flavored cake with butter cream frosting; it was refreshing and delicious! Also, she opted for butter cream instead of fondant because it was more important to her and the groom that everyone enjoyed eating the cake just as much as they enjoyed looking at it (for those who don't know, fondant is pretty, but tastes horrible!).
