Very Best Chocolate Cake

by Katiey
(West Grove, PA)

You bake a chocolate cake, as indicated on the box, or from scratch.

Once it's done baking, while it's still very warm, you poke holes in the cake (the back of a wooden spoon works great).

Pour hot fudge sauce and hot caramel sauce into each of the holes. (I usually create a grid of holes and alternate, one hole chocolate, the next caramel). You will need to keep pouring the sauces into the holes as the cake soaks up the sauces.

Once the holes are full, ice the cake with whipped cream. Serve while still warm.
