Vanilla Wedding Cake With Sugar Flowers

My wedding cake was a three-tiered cake in a vanilla flavor. It had paste and sugar decorations (flowers, whereas on the top there was the groom with the bride).

I ordered the cake from a close friend of mine, who is pastry chef. I didn't pay for it, because this was his present for my wedding.

As far as I know, he charges by the slice. The charge depends on the size, the taste or tastes and the decorations. For example, for small cake he charges around $1.50 a slice, a mid-range two- or three-tiered cake can run $5 or $6 a slice and a high-end multi-tiered gourmet cake can run $10 or more per slice. If I had to pay it would cost me at about $5 a slice multiplied by 100 guests equals to $500.
