Vanilla Cream With Raspberry Wedding Cake

It was a vanilla cream cake with raspberry filling. We had a small reception so we didn't need a big cake, but we still had leftovers. Cake goes a long way!

We loved the detailing on the cake, it was more elegant than others, and we didn't want it to be a super white frosting either so the cream color really came out well. We also didn't want to much 'stuff' on the cake, like decorative things - we liked the simple look.

A friend of ours actually made the cake and gave it to us as a gift so that we didn't have to pay for it (and she didn't have to buy something else either), we were on a tight budget so that worked nicely.
