Valentine's Day Birthday Celebration

Our daughter had the flu when she turned 12, so we didn't celebrate until 3 days later, which meant it was Valentine's Day.
I made a yummy (Duncan Hines) Pineapple Supreme Cake, adding some well-drained canned crushed pineapple to the batter. I used a round pan.
When the cake was done, I sliced it into two layers and put seedless raspberry preserves between them.
Next I carved the cake into a heart. Finally, I topped the cake with a coconut frosting to which I had added bright red (vegetable) food coloring.
It was certainly appropriate to the day, and our daughter loved it.
