Untraditional And Delicious Wedding Cake

We got so many compliments on our cake! We're both definitely chocolate people, so we knew we wanted all chocolate.

I found a picture of a groom's cake with the chocolate leaves and vines, and brought it to our caterer. She was so excited to try something new and different! We had 53 people at the reception, including us, and we still had the top layer to take home at the end. I'm not sure how much the cake itself was; our caterer had a deal where the cake was "free" when she provided the food, drinks, and service.
