Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Birthday Cake

The party was a Nursery Rhyme birthday party for a 2 year old girl.

When using the star mold (or any other) it is very important to use crisco or butter and flower the pan so that the cake releases easily. If the cake bubbles in the middle it is likely to break when turned upside-down.

The tops of cupcakes make excellent patching material. I used a star mold and star cupcake molds.
