Twinkies Mini Muffin Cakes
Preparing Twinkies Mini Muffin Cakes
A small company that I used to work at invited all employees and their family for a "Day of Fun." And so I asked my sisters to help me bake something for the little ones. I assisted in making these mini-muffin-cakes, my siblings are the ones to deserve the credit.
I believe the youngest child was 6 years old, and the eldest was probably around 14 years old.
For the muffins base, we used muffin pans.
For preparation instruction please look at both the photos first.
Make the muffin first, any muffin would be fine, but we added some hershey chocolates to ours, since all kids enjoy chocolate.
Once the muffin is done, add a layer of icing (or anything that can act as glue and is edible and tasty) on top of it.
Next, apply layered chocolate or chocolate powder on top of it (can make it slightly moist so it actually stick and you can style it).
Then you can make the eye. We wanted to use ice cream to fill the white areas of the eye, but it can't last in a very warm room, so we just used the icings.
Lastly, the M&M's can be used in place of the eyes and nose.
The first picture is the process of us making the muffin base. The second photo is the final look.
