Turtle Cake For Animal Lovers

It was my nephew's 7th birthday. He's a big lover of different animals and that inspired me to bake a cake in the form of a turtle.

I used a simple Ikea cookie baking sheet to bake individual cookies for a cake.

The recipe is very simple:

For the dough:

- 6 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2-3 tsp cocoa

For the cream:

- 0.5 liter sour cream
- 1 cup sugar
- a bar of melted chocolate or 2 tbsp cocoa

Preheat the oven 375F.

Prepare dough by mixing all listed ingredients.

On the baking sheet put dough by a tablespoon in the form of cookies, 2 inches apart. The dough is pretty liquid and easily makes round cookies. bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes. It takes several times to bake all the cookies.

Dip each cookie in the cream (remove excess if necessary) and place one by one on a big plate to form a turtle.

Put the ready cake in the refrigerator overnight, then enjoy your cake!

In my case, not only my nephew, but all the guests loved the cake!
