Treasure Island Cake

It was my son Luke's 7th birthday and he wanted a pirate themed party, so I made this giant chocolate cake that looked like an island surrounded by water.

For decoration I used his LEGO pirates, palm tree, a treasure chest candle and various marine animals made from plastic.

The kids loved the cake and I was glad to have produced the cake in spite of having 104*F temperature and walking pneumonia.
