Tiffany Boxes Make a Great Cake

We wanted to have a different cake, something delicious but not too big and did not want it to look like a wedding cake. Since we had seen Breakfast at Tiffany's together, we thought it would be neat if the cake looked like Tiffany's boxes.

This was a custom made cake from Middleburg, VA; a Fondant cake with two tiers with 6 layers per tier. The chocolate cake inside had raspberry layering. As it was a very rich cake, we could serve small pieces.

The Cake cost $280 and it served 80 people. We had a smaller wedding at my sister-in-law's house. Everyone thought the cake was delicious, and we were glad that it had been made by someone else, as there was enough to do. The cost also included the transport to the caterers who were close to the cake maker.
