There Is Only One Fruitcake

They say this about fruit cakes. There is only one fruit cake in the world and it gets passed around from one person to another. I can see where that joke came from.

This year a fruit cake came back to me after visting a few other homes. I got this fruit cake from a distant friend of mine on Christmas. I passed it on to my mother-in-law. She gave it to my sister-in-law who, without knowing the history of the cake, gave it back to me. How do I know that it was the same cake? Well, both my mother-in-law and my sis-in-law didn't bother to change the wrapping. It had Merry Christmas written on it in my handwriting.
