The Travelling Fruitcake

Let me start by saying that my family hates fruitcake. One year my cousin thought it would be funny to give a small store bought one to my mom as a joke. Since there was no way that my mom was going to eat it, she kept it and passed it on to another family member the following year.

This quickly became a family tradition for us to pass the fruitcake to someone new each year. Surprisingly after being run over in the car by my step dad (to show his dislike for the thing)it is still being passed today. It looks the same (with a few tire marks) as when my mom first received it.

Pass the cake please!
