The Huge Autumn Wedding Cake

I designed my wedding cake on a slow day at work, and this is what I came up with. Our wedding had an autumn theme, so I decided to go with orange, red, and yellow leaf motifs, and our last name starts with an "L", so I included that in the design.

My mother and grandmother made the cake, which was white cake with buttercream icing. The colored decorations were made off a white chocolate plastic recipe that came from some cake decorating book... I can't remember which one. Basically, it was melted white chocolate, corn syrup, and food color. It made a substance that was kind of like molding clay, but much, much yummier!

As for the topper, we ordered a glass photo crystal from Wal-Mart with our engagement picture and wedding date in it.
