The Grape Cake With Fruit

I was visiting my granddaughter in Vermont around the time she was having her 4th birthday. Since her mother and father were pretty much occupied with the upcoming birth of their twin boys, I asked her what kind of cake she wanted. She requested a grape cake with fruit on top of it.

I made it with a boxed white cake mix and a small box of grape Jello made per box instructions but baked in 2 pans, one larger than the other.

The frosting was Cool Whip frosting with grape Kool-Aid mixed in per taste. Then I decorated with her favorite fruits. It was a big hit and tasted better than I thought it would.
