Superstar Cake

This was for my daughter's 4th birthday. The cake is made from 3 cakes. Two layers then a star cut from last one and placed on top on the cake. I didn't use any special pans to make this cake.

I baked 3 25cm round vanilla cakes and put one in the freezer for 15 minutes to make it much easier to cut into a star :)

The star is not supported with anything other than icing, gotta love icing :)

Its a first effort from a dad so go easy on me :)
