Spongebob Squarepants Birthday Cake

I was inspired to make this cake for my cousin, Dominic, because he absolutely loves watching Spongebob Squarepants on TV. I made it for his second birthday this past August. I did not use any special pans; instead, all I used were a 9 inch round pan and a 12 inch round pan to form the layers.

I prepared the cake by baking it, removing the layers from the pan, and letting them cool before I assembled the cake with buttercream frosting.

The shells were made out of molded white chocolate, and I bought the rest of the decorations at a local party supply store.
