Spiderman Cake

Spiderman Cake

Spiderman Cake

This cake was for my 11 yr old son. He was really into Spiderman at the time.

I baked two 8-inch rounds and covered with white frosting. Not wanting to go the action figure route on top, I bought a Spiderman coloring book and found a page to use as my stencil. I cut out the head and used a toothpick to trace the main lines on the cake. With black frosting I traced the outlines and filled in with a red start tip. The webbing around Spidey, I free formed. On the sides of the cake are edible cake add-ons that I found in the grocery store.

By the way.. There are 12 candles on the cake, the extra was the "One to grow on."
