Space Shuttle Cake

My 4 year old son loves everything space shuttle. There was no question what his cake was going to be for his birthday. The shuttle itself is a chocolate pound cake cut into the shuttle shape. The shuttle was covered in homemade fondant and placed on top of a homemade sheet cake. The candles were placed in the shuttle's engine cones for a true engine effect.
