Sour Cream Cake With Whipped Cream Frosting

I made this cake because I wanted to make something new and unusual for my sister. At the time she was 22 and I thought the usual chocolate just wouldn't work.
I used a standard 8x11 pan to make the sheet cake. Once done I cut it in half so I could frost the middle of the cake as well. The cake itself was very easy to prepare. I simply mixed the ingredients as the recipe said and done.
It was a very moist heavy cake with so much flavor.
