Soccer Ball Cake

My daughter decided she wanted a ball cake for her 3rd birthday to go with the sports-related theme at her birthday party. I used a Wilton ball cake pan to make a great chocolate gluten-free cake that I then decorated like a soccer ball. I wanted the sections where the colors join to be more distinct than just frosting, so I added black licorice.
