Snowflake Wedding Cake

My brother and his wife chose this particular cake design because the wedding took place in January. Snowflakes were the main decorative theme for the wedding, as were the colors baby blue and white. The cake topper boasts the bride and firefighter groom (my brother is a firefighter).

The wedding itself was very traditional, so the 3-tier design seemed to fit that best of all. The cake was made at the Dingledein Bakery in downtown Harrisburg, PA. It cost a few hundred dollars, and served over 100 guests.

The cake consisted of two different flavors. One layer was white cake with raspberry filling and buttercream icing. The other layer was chocolate with mocha filling and buttercream icing.
