Simple Wedding Cake
My wedding cake was very simple. I actually found this style in an issue of Martha Stewart magazine and fell in love with it. My caterers made the cake even better by sprinkling it with what they called "fairydust," which made it shimmer all over.
As you can see, my cake was three tiers and it easily served 150 people with leftovers, and of course we saved the top tier for our first anniversary.
The catering company we used, Create-A-Cake (Greensboro, NC) actually included the cake with the cost of the food so we didn't have to pay a particular price just for the cake or even a cutting fee.
