Simple Square Wedding Cake

This cake was my sister-in-laws. I was with her every step of planning the wedding so I know the details. She wanted a very simple wedding cake That is why she went with a simple square 4 tiered wedding cake. She picked the design simply by having the bakers decorate it with the same flowers that were in her bouquets. They added some ribbon around the edges so it wasn't to plain. The colors simply came from her flower colors. It was simple yet very pretty.

The best part of it was that the hotel that she had the wedding at included the cake for free because she picked them for her ceremony and reception site. The cake fed about 200 quests.

It is nice to have a wedding at a hotel or resort because they can pretty much do any style of cake you want. She got to taste test all different flavors and look at their book of previous cakes to help her choose. It was real easy.
