Simple All White Wedding Cake

My husband and I wanted a simple, all-white wedding cake when we got married two and a half years ago. My mom's friend is a talented cake decorator and offered to do our cake for free as her wedding gift to us.

Our cake was four-tiered, so we did different flavors in each tier - two white, one chocolate, and one strawberry/white marble. The cake turned out beautifully and was absolutely delicious!

Our wedding decorations were simple, mainly using white flowers and greenery with a little pit of pink here and there, and my bridesmaids' dresses were a light teal color, so this cake fit perfectly.

She also made a matching sheet cake for our grooms cake. We had 100 guests at our reception, and there was a lot of cake leftover afterwards!

I'm glad I went this route with our cake - my mom's friend worked with me, using our decorations as inspiration, and went from there.

I found the cake topper on theknot.com and thought it went perfectly with everything, and it only cost about $15, I believe. I still can't believe our cake was free - it was the cake of my dreams!
