Shelly's Wedding Cake

This cake was made by my husband's cousin for our wedding. It was a simple three-tiered cake, the top tier being designed to be frozen and eaten on our first anniversary. The bottom layer was chocolate cake (my favorite), the middle layer was red velvet, my husband's favorite, and the top layer was what the cake-baker described as "brown velvet" and was a tasty combination of red velvet and chocolate, swirled together.

The cake was small, as was our wedding, and only served about 20 guests.
