Scion XB Cake

My son drives a Scion XB that he loves! I have been reading books about how to use fondant to decorate cake and made him his very own scion XB cake.

I baked three 9x9x1.5 inch cakes and stacked them on top of each other. I made sure to freeze the cakes before cutting them into the shape of the car, because it is much easier to cut when it is hard.

I then cut the cake to its desired shape and covered the cake with rolled out fondant. I used a small round tip and a piping bag to add the details to the cake.
