Rainbow Birthday Cake

My sister turned 15 this year. She loves rainbows. She has her bedroom painted with rainbows and has tons of rainbow jewlery. My first thought with this cake was to make it seven layers, each layer a different color of the rainbow.

So I did that but I also wanted to suprise her so I made the rainbow design not visable until you cut into it! I placed pure white fondant all around the cake. I then made a purple flower and we surrounded all of the candles with leaves.

An organic-looking design was a MUST for her. She is a vegetarian and thought the vegetation was beautiful!
