Race Car Cake

My father in law worked on race cars and my three year old son adored him and loved to go to the shop where he worked on the cars. Their birthdays were a couple of weeks apart so we did a combined birthday. I found a Wilton pan which looked like the race van my father in law drove and one which looked like a race car. I made both the van cake for my son and the car cake for my father in law. I colored the icing to match the race car and the van to match my father in law. Both were so happy when we had a party at the shop.
