Puppy Cake

My beautiful niece turned four while on vacation in Florida, where she had a big party on the beach. When she got home, Mom and Dad were tired of cake so I made her a special puppy cake just for her. I took two strawberry, her favorite, cupcakes to make the body and the top half of one to make the head, and decorated them using buttercream frosting.

It was pretty quick and simple. She went absolutely nuts over this cake. Mom had to take a picture for her to take to daycare to show her teacher. I don't know what to do to top this one for next year.
