Puppy Birthday Cake For Cliff

This is my birthday cake for my nephew. I moved to Hawaii, while my sister-in-law was still pregnant with him. So I didn't get the chance to meet him,'til he was almost a year old. I wanted to do something special for him for his birthday, just so he'll know Aunt Kim loves him.

He had a bigger birthday cake for everyone else to eat, but I wanted him to have his own special 'personal' birthday cake. Every baby needs a personal cake on their first birthday!

It was perfect and adorable. I used a small casserole pan, that you'd usually use to make personal meatloafs in. Then, I decided to cover it in icing like a puppy dog, because I love my little monkey. I feel like he enjoyed it, as much as I did making it for him.
