Pudding Cake

Pudding Cake is a dessert that came from Great Britain. It first appeared in the early 17th Century.

Bread Pudding

In the beginning, people in Britain were using old bread and they would steam it and then add any ingredients they would find, such as meat and fruit. Then, the whole concoction would be thrown in the oven oven for baking.

Through the years people became more inventive and more foods became available.  Now, this popular dessert is made in versions that include chocolate, pineapple, pistachio, vanilla, Oreo cookies, lemon, peach, banana, coffee, Key Lime, Pina Colada, blueberry, and more.

Some quick and easy recipes call for Jello and use instant cake mix.  No matter how you make them, they will probably turn out to be quite tasty.

Famous British chef, Jamie Oliver re-invented pudding. He added his own style into it ingredients and serves it in his own way.

Bread and butter pudding was Princess Diana's all time favorite.

This recipe has seven ingredients and the baking time is 30-40 minutes.

This version uses white cake, strawberry Jello and vanilla pudding. Chocoholics are sure to love this recipe.
