This easy pound cake was made with a Duncan Hines cake mix. After cooking it I let it cool off for around 30 minutes and then sprinkled it with confectioners sugar.


My guests loved it because they ate it while it was still warm. Sometimes the simplest cakes can be the biggest hits. You don't need to hunt for a great pound cake recipe because the store-bought mixes will do just fine. Fresheness is the key. If it is made according to the instructions on the box it will taste wonderful, especially with a cup of coffee!

When you are looking to please your guests, just pull out the old bundt pan a couple of hours before it's time for dessert and whip up a delicious pound cake.
