Pink 4th Birthday Cake

I have enjoyed making cakes for a few years now and wanted to make an extra special cake for my neice on her 4th birthday. A basic layout of a two tier round cake was a perfect size for the small party we were having for her. I used her two favorite colors for the cake; pink and purple. I also used small choclate candies to decorate the edges and accent the cake bases in coresponding colors.

I created the cake up by using two round vanilla cakes and layering them with choclate frosting and chopped up strawberries. I then iced the cake with cream cheese whipped icing dyed pink. She loved it and it tasted wonderful.
