I made this cake for my cousin's 18th birthday party. The party had a luau theme and instead of having an actual roasted pig, we made this pig cake.
All we did was use a white cake mix baked in a round pan for the head and also a square pan. We cut the cake in the square pan in half diagonally and positioned each half at the top of the round cake for ears. We added a cupcake for the snout and frosted it all with strawberry icing.
After drawing in some detail with chocolate decorator's icing, we added half an apple for the mouth (which roasted pigs usually have in their mouth) and served it on a bed of lettuce. Voila! Roasted pig cake!
