Pansy Wedding Cake

Since this was going to be a very small wedding reception, I wanted to find a cake that would look stunning, but be a reasonable size.

I went to a small french Bakery called Patisserie Poupon in Baltimore, and told the decorator that I wanted it to be simple, striking, and to have only two tiers due to only ~30 people attending the reception. I also told her that I wanted my favourite flowers to be put on it... Pansies!

Suffice to say, they delivered. The price was very good. Only $180. It fed everyone who attended, and it received loads of compliments to boot!
