Wedding Cake From Simply Sweet

My delicious wedding cake was made by Simply Sweet, in Fredericksburg, VA. We had our wedding in a garden, and while we wanted a pretty cake, we didn't want it to take away from the natural beauty surroundings.

The cake was one tier plus the topper, enough for 50 people. It cost $250, because I demanded that it be red velvet cake with cream cheese icing, and you can't seem to get that anywhere for much less!

The top is a bow with an orchid flower, though it's hard to see at that angle, I wouldn't recommend getting an orchid in icing because it doesn't really stand out.

It was really a beautiful cake! But more importantly, it tasted amazing.
