Oriental Wedding Cake

The bride's family was Oriental, so it was themed to fit their traditional style. So, there are some elaborate patterns on the icing and it is stacked rather high, with a special decoration on the top.

The cake was purchased from Paul's Bakery, a local baker. It was large enough to serve around 50 guests from my count, but of course, some of them either didn't eat or ate more than one piece. You can always limit the number of pieces per person to accommodate group size. It cost $200, which I thought was a decent price for the amount of work put in by the baker to meet our requirements.
