For a nursery rhyme birthday, we made a Pat-a-cake, Twinkle Twinkle little star cake! We used a star shaped pan and frosted it pink with yellow stars and a purple border and had a smaller circle cake on the top frosted yellow with the first letter of my daughters name in purple surrounded by happy birthday and a candle "mark it with a "B" and put in the oven for baby and me."
We also had little star shaped cupcakes with the first letter of her name on them. It was great for a first birthday because we were able to take the smaller round cake off of the star cake and that was her own special cake. We also recorded everyone reading her a rhyme, she loves to watch the video!
