Strawberry Shortcake Wedding Cake My sister-in-law and best friend helped my sister make my wedding cake the night before the wedding. My sister has a great recipe for strawberry shortcake and so all she did was use three spring form cake pans. She brought the cake up to the reception hall the night before and wrapped them in seran wrap. Just a half hour before the wedding, she had a friend cover the cake layers in whip cream and frosting.
