My daughter's favorite birthday cake

It was my daughter's eleventh birthday, and she couldn't decide on a cake. It was between a High School Musical themed cake or just a regular chocolate cake. She wasn't having a party or anything, due to the fact that we just moved across country and she didn't have any new friends yet. I felt bad, because she had wanted a big party, and I wanted to make it up to her. So I decided on making a chocolate cake covered in pink icing, a fairly fancy looking cake that was cheap and easy to make. And for the High School Musical theme, I used themed plates and napkins, and we held our own little party. Everyone loved the cake, and I think I did a good job of making her feel better in our new home.
