My Barney Cake

My son who was obsessed with Barney when he was about 2 years old and he wanted a Barney cake for his birthday. Not being creative myself I set out to make one. I used a Barney cake pan that someone let me borrow made by Whitman I think. The imprint is baked into the cake.

I have a good friend that manages a bakery and I had her show me how to apply the icing. You use a star tip and apply the icing like little stars. It is a little time consuming but fun. It turned out ok for my first try and my son was over the moon!!! PRICELESS
