Mountain Dew Cake

This Mountain Dew cake recipe has been in our family for many years and passed down. If you like pineapple and coconut you will love this recipe.

Ingredients:

1 Orange cake Mix
1 Coconut pudding pie filling (not instant)
3/4 cup Oil
4 Eggs
12 OZ. cold Mountain Dew

Mix all together with blender for 2 minutes on medium.

Bake as directed on the cake mix according to size of pan. Cool completely before frosting.

The frosting I use is:

1 Large Can Crushed Pinapple
1 Cup Sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 Cup coconut
1/2 stick butter
1 Tsp. Vanilla

Heat Pinapple,sugar,and cornstarch until thick.
Stir in butter, coconut, and vanilla. Spread on top of each layer of cake.
