Moist Chocolate Cake With Chocolate Frosting

I made a moist chocolate cake with chocolate frosting for my daughters birthday when she turned 17. I knew 17 was an in between age for me, I had gotten my drivers license at 16 and I would be an adult at 18, so 17 seemed like it wasn't as special.

I decided to make her favorite flavored cake special so at least something would be remembered about her 17th birthday, I did not use any kind of special pan, just my trusty round one. I greased the sides with butter to give it plenty of flavor (this is no dieting persons cake!) and just made a basic chocolate mix from scratch, and then the frosting was a chocolate ganache with hazelnut flavor. I put some white chocolate whipped cream on the top edges and some chocolate sauce drizzled on. I have one picture of the finished product.
