lovely looking cake....I made two cakes for my twin girls second bday last May- they love maisy! wish i had seen your cake for the technique you used for the icing- buttercream! why didn't i think of that?!- i used marzipan- colouring was quite a mission! But my neice and I were determined - icing not being my forte- cakes looked lovely in the end- as usual worth the effort huh..
