This macaroni cake was for my 14 year old. We have a running family joke beacase she cooked macaroni for her brothers and when they bit into it, it was crunchy!
I used 3 small pans for the cake (pot) and chocolate icing. I hollowed out about 1/2 inch of the top layer and used a large tip with buttercream that was colored golden yellow. I made it kind of thin so that it would look "cheesy." I used foil to make handles for the pot.
This was a huge hit - at first, people really thought it was macaroni and put it on the table with the side dishes!
