Leaning Fondant Cake

My sister-in-law and I threw a double party for our daughters last fall. My daughter turned 4 and hers turned 2. We wanted to do dramatically diffrent cakes so each little girl felt it was her own special party cake. I decided to make a marshmallow fondant frosting. I used a recipe off the Internet and made a "test" cake the weekend before to give myself some practice.

While it didn't turn out like the cakes on Food Network, it was a hit at the party. The fondant did squish the cake a bit - by the time the party rolled around the bottom layer had bowed out. Didn't effect the flavor at all though. I don't know if I'll make it again, but it was a good learning experience.
