Jen's 18th Birthday Cake

This was made for my best friend, Jen, for her 18th birthday. Her favorite animals are frogs, but I couldn't find any small frogs to put on the top, so I used 'lily-pad-esque' wax molds instead.

The inside was a simple strawberry shortcake with fresh strawberries cut up inside. The icing was made of powdered sugar and butter. Light brown sugar was sprinkled and patted on the top to slightly resemble sand.
