I Hate Fruitcake

I've always hated fruitcakes. I remember when I was younger trying a piece of fruitcake and spitting it out. The unpleasant taste if left if my mouth has stayed with me to this day. Anytime I see a fruitcake or someone mentions the word I am taken back to my first and last time I tried fruitcake.

I've heard from some people that fruitcake can be good. Maybe it just depends on who makes it or just what your tastes are. Now that I am older I might be willing to try fruitcake again. Who knows I might actually even like it this time.
