Home Made Cake With Coconut

Well, it was a rush decoration. I made the cake out of a box but for decor I used a merengue and coconut topping. I was imspired on the tropical weather due to the b-day being in January at home we wanted to have something to remember our native land and weather reason why I used coconut.

The only tip I can give is to first put the merengue on the top of the cake and later sprinkle the coconut, finishing it up with a little note on the cake saying FELIZ CUMPLEANOS!!
